Appreciation # 5
This is going to hard to write probably harder to write then the James Cheal post was to make. But I will try and write it. As you can tell this post is not about one of my friends or family its about my favorite band of all time My Chemical Romance. Now I bet you guys are wondering why a band in your appreciations post? WELL ITS MY APPRECIATIONS POSTS AND I CAN POST WHATEVER I WANT TO APPRECIATED MEW HA HA HA >:)!
But seriously I’m posting about this band because I said in the beginning of these posts that its appreciating the things I have in my life and damn it I sure as heck appreciate this band! So I’m going to tell my MCR story if you guys don’t mind? :)
Okay so back in 2008 I think… When I was 12 I was in 7th grade and was having one of the worst years of my life. I was bullied so badly because I was quiet and shy and I was bullied by these 3 people and some people I didn’t even know. This led me to an extremely dark depression that made me suicidal and when is it normal to be suicidal at 12 years old? Anyway at home I would watch music videos that people would make for the sims 2 and I found this one video that was extremely amazing made with their song Helena.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PuMhufFeMU0 but for some reason I couldn’t stop listening to this song I kept replaying it over and over again. Then I found the music video to Helena and I got so interested but was also kinda freaked out too (I was a 12 cheesy Disney fan what do you expect? XD) But like James if anyone has read the appreciation #1 post they gave me this gut feeling that I couldn’t describe something in my gut was telling me that this was going to change my life in someways. So then I started to look up more and more songs by them and started to watch interviews by them and I figured out how they started the band and how they started to band to save peoples life’s. Then Gerard explaining how he was depressed and It made me feel like I wasn’t alone and that it was okay to be depressed and that I wasn’t a freak either. This band got me out of my depression and made me realize that I shouldn’t care what people think of me because its stupid trying to impress people that don’t even like you for you. This band let me see the world in a brand new color and definitely made me happier then I ever was before this band is my biggest inspiration to music ever. They inspired me to start a band that changes peoples lifes sometime in the future this is how I want to use my voice to help other people not feel alone just like they did for me.
This is my favorite band of all time My Chemical Romance they made me not feel alone and have led me out of depressions. They inspire me to better myself and to just be myself no matter what circumstances and they showed me that not everything in the world is bad and to try to use my voice to help other people just like they did for me I hope one day to meet this band and thank them for everything they’ve done for me but I know most likely that will never happen XD I’ll thank them everyday for what they helped me with.

I love this song and I love Evanescence too Amy Lee has an incredible voice and she can make such meaningful music which is what I love.. I somewhat relate to the lyrics to this song but not a lot.
